Dee Barker is a fitness industry expert and a leading personal trainer with 25 years of experience. She has been recognized for pioneering data-based solutions to fitness issues. Her data, innovation and expertise have culminated in the creation of Better Body Image – the only app that motivates people by showing them what their actual body will look like after they’ve reached their fitness goal and tells them exactly how to get there.
Over the past 15 years, she has collected and analyzed body data in order to design personalized exercise programs for specific body types.
Here is how she did it:
- Conducted an overall physiological evaluation
- Identified body type (apple, pear, potato, banana)
- Measured 8 body points – arms, chest, waist, abdomen, hips, and thighs
- Created a personalized exercise program based on body type and goals
- Motivated client by using visualization of their goal
- Re-measured and recorded body change every 6 weeks
- Adapted exercise program based on results
